Grades are available on
Power School.
Grades will be uploaded after each unit test and at the end of each week.
If you see a ( ) it means you have an excused absence and that assignment
can be made up. If you see a zero it means your absence was not excused,
you turned it in late, or you just did not do it. You may not make up the
assignment.
Homework is due at the beginning
of each class. All work must be showing to receive credit. A paper with
answers only is not acceptable. All assignments will have warm up problems.
Assignments without warm up problems or done with pen will receive no credit.
Remember
"When in doubt write it out"
There will be tests, periodic quizzes, and notebook quizzes given throughout the
quarter. Quizzes may not be made up. You may take a quiz
any time before if you are checking out or will be out of
town. I drop the lowest quiz score at the end of each quarter.
Late work is accepted only for
excused absences. All late work must be completed within 2 days
after returning to school. It is your responsibility to get missed notes
and assignments. Make-up tests must be taken the day you
return, unless other arrangements are made. If you are going to be absent for reasons
other than illness, you must get the work before you go.
If you come late to school,
you need to see me that day to get the work you missed. The 2-day rule
does not apply. If you come late to
school on a test day you may not make up the exam.
If you are on an approved
check out list you do not need to come see me that day unless it is to take a
quiz or pick up a worksheet. You can get your assignment from this web
site!
